30 Women, 30 Careers: Celebrating Diversity

Thirty life-sized figurative sculptures celebrating women across professional and life roles — not simply for the careers they pursue, but for the individuality, dedication and resilience behind each one.

Every piece is hand-built from a block of clay, and each carries its own story. Select any piece to read more about its concept and making.

All ten sculptures completed so far in this series are hand-built in Walker Ceramics No. 10 stoneware clay, recorded here so the clay body behind the work to date is on the record. Future pieces may be built in other clays, and each sculpture’s own page states the clay it was made from.
